Job summary

The Pennsylvania State University is seeking undergraduate students to serve as teaching assistants for IB 303 (International Business Operations) for fall 2026 and spring 2027. TAs attend class, respond to student emails, grade, proctor exams, and help with topics as needed. The TA role is limited to up to 10 hours per week.

Successful applicants will have completed IB 303 (or similar) with a B+ or better and will work under the Risk Management Department of the Smeal College of Business.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate student who has completed IB 303 (or similar) with a grade of B+ or better.
• Willing to commit up to 10 hours per week
• Ability to respond to student emails and assist with topics as needed

Responsibilities

• Attend some or all class sessions for IB 303.
• Respond to student emails and provide guidance on topics.
• Grade assignments and proctor exams.
• Provide students with additional help as directed.

JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Risk Management Department within the Smeal College of Business is seeking to hire undergraduate student(s) to serve as the teaching assistant for IB 303 (International Business Operations) in the fall 2026 and spring 2027 semesters. Applicants should have previously completed this course (or similar course) with a grade of B+ or better. Job duties include, but are not limited to, attending some or all of the class, responding to student emails, grading, proctoring exams, providing students with additional help on given topics, etc. The TA would be expected to work no more than 10 hours per week.
