Job summary

Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA is seeking a part-time, on-site Internal Medicine Advanced Practice Provider (CRNP or PA) to join our care team.

The APP will work collaboratively with Internal Medicine Practitioners to deliver comprehensive patient care, focusing on history and physicals, wound care, sick visits, and transitions from ER or hospital.

Requirements include NP/PA graduate, PA/CRNP license in PA, valid DEA or ability to obtain; prior Internal Medicine experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Current PA/CRNP licensure in Pennsylvania.
• Active DEA registration or ability to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and patient-centered care.
• Internal Medicine experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Take patient histories, perform physical examinations, and develop care plans.
• Manage sick visits, wound care, and post-ER/hospital follow-up.
• Provide patient education, including diabetes management.
• In-basket EHR management, EKGs, IV management as needed.
• Collaborate with Internal Medicine Practitioners in a team-based model.
