Part-time Interdisciplinary STEM Curriculum Developer (Biology, Physics, Engineering)

We’re looking for a highly motivated educator to join our NSF-funded research team in Summer 2025 to develop an integrated curriculum combining Biology, Physics, and Engineering principles through the lens of geology and paleontology. This opportunity will allow you to create content for a geology-inspired Virtual Field Trip (VFT), enhancing virtual learning experiences and showcasing how these disciplines come together to solve real-world problems.

Duration: Up to 25 hours per week for up to 10 weeks between June 1 and August 15, 2025

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop interdisciplinary lesson plans, instructional content, and assessments
  • Integrate material from Biology, Physics, and Engineering into cohesive, engaging lessons
  • Align curriculum with national and state standards
  • Upload and organize materials on an online platform
  • Create engaging activities, problems, and exercises for student learning

Who Should Apply

  • Master’s degree or higher in Biology, Physics, Engineering, or a related field
  • Experience with online curriculum development and/or interdisciplinary content integration
