Department Information

The Department of Psychology and Criminal Justice includes programs that are designed to produce scientifically analytic, critical thinkers prepared to succeed in meeting the challenges of modern life. We emphasize career preparation in the behavioral sciences through lifelong learning. The Department offers an Associate of Science in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice, and a Doctorate in Public Safety. It also offers a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis.

Job Summary

This position is a part-time position to teach within our Bachelor of Psychology program or within the minor/certificate in Applied Behavior Analysis, with a start date for Spring 2026 or Fall 2026.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of a Master’s degree from a regionally-accredited university (or international equivalent) in Psychology or Applied Behavior Analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

Doctoral degree in Psychology (or ABA) preferred.

Preferred Experience

Prior college teaching experience. Prior online teaching experience.

Other Preferred Qualifications

Record of research/scholarly publications.
