Job summary

Grossmont-Cuyamaca Community College District is seeking part-time instructors for the Graphic Arts pool. Responsibilities include teaching, evaluating students, and updating curriculum under the CIS and Graphic Design departments.

Start date Fall 2026 with flexible hours and a pay schedule based on adjunct and overload assignments. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's in Graphic Arts with 2 years of related experience or an Associate with 6 years' experience, or equivalency.

Starting Salary Rage: $70.84 - $86.11 (Class II, step 1 to Class VI, step 1) based on the Adjunct, Overload and Substitute Salary Schedule.

Job Description

Under administrative leadership, it is the responsibility of part time faculty to perform tasks which support advancement of the visions, missions, and values of the colleges and District. Part time faculty have responsibilities in regards to their classroom assignment, evaluation of students, curriculum, student advising, professional development, and any assignment-specific needs.

Minimum Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in any subject and two years of experience in Graphic Arts, OR
  • any associate degree in any subject and six years of experience in Graphic Arts, OR
  • The equivalent.
