The University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg invites applications for a Part-time Instructor of Piano to join our collaborative music program in Greensburg, PA.

The successful candidate will provide private half-hour lessons, accompany the Pitt-Greensburg Chorale and Chamber Singers, and teach one class per semester in piano or related subjects, contributing to performances and campus musical activities.

Qualifications

• Experience in private piano instruction.
• Experience in choral accompanying.
• Experience teaching in a university setting (desirable).

Responsabilités

• Accompany Pitt-Greensburg Chorale and Chamber Singers in weekly rehearsals and semester performances, working with the music director (approximately five hours of rehearsal time).
• Collaborate with the voice program to prepare and accompany singers for the semester recital.
• Accompany university musical when scheduled. The next one is scheduled for Spring 28.
• Teach one class per semester, typically Class Piano for beginners or other courses within the candidate's expertise.
