Job summary

Savannah Technical College is continuously seeking qualified candidates to teach adjunct faculty in humanities and fine arts. These are temporary, part-time positions appointed per academic term with day and evening hours available.

Minimum qualifications include a Master’s degree in the field or related area with 18 graduate hours, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with MS Office. A criminal background check is required and funding contingencies apply.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in field or closely related field with a minimum of 18 graduate semester hours in field or closely related field from a regionally accredited college or university
• Excellent human-relations, interpersonal skills, and strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Adjunct faculty positions are temporary, part-time positions appointed on a per academic term basis.
• Duties include a flexible schedule of lecture and/or laboratory, and may involve split teaching shifts or routine travel between campus locations.
