The Division of Continuing Education (DCE) is a self-supporting unit within the University of California, funded through fees collected from a diverse student population. Part-time instructor positions are on a course-by-course contracted basis and are not faculty positions.
Online teaching positions are available in the Human Resources Management Program. We seek qualified applicants with current knowledge and/or teaching experience in areas such as:
Key duties include developing course syllabi, preparing and delivering online course materials, utilizing Canvas LMS, evaluating student achievement, and participating in training and administrative tasks. The curriculum is continuously updated to ensure relevance and practical application.
Basic: Master's degree or higher, extensive HR experience, proficiency or willingness to learn instructional technology.
Additional: Current knowledge in the subject area, high standards of integrity, effective communication skills, professional association participation, comfort with international students.
Preferred: Curriculum design experience, college-level teaching or equivalent.
