Job Description Summary

Continuing Education at Santa Fe College offers non‑degree programs and workshops focused on providing diverse workforce development opportunities that meet the everchanging needs of the surrounding communities. Whether an individual is seeking an industry certification, changing careers, focusing on career advancement, starting or growing a small business, or seeking the in‑demand skills for emerging technologies, Continuing Education has current, accessible, and affordable programs that fit into a busy schedule.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Instruct American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Heart Saver First Aid CPR Certification courses.
• Comply with all published College rules, procedures, guidelines, and laws/regulations governing public employees, including those related to document retention, FERPA, and confidentiality.
• Strictly honor privacy, security, and confidentiality of student records and other sensitive information according to state, federal, and college regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Provide service excellence through courteous, informed, accessible, and professional engagement.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current instructor certification from the American Heart Association.

• A criminal background check will be conducted.
