Job summary

Pasteur Middle School is hiring a 1:1 Instructional Assistant II for a 6-hour daily shift, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:30 PM. The role supports students in Resource and special education settings and requires experience with such populations.

The position is part-time with a 6-hour workday and offers a 9-month/year calendar with benefits. Salary ranges from $19.51 to $24.47 per hour, plus a 5% Hard to Staff stipend.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students in Resource, Learning Handicap, or Communicatively Handicap settings.
• Willingness to obtain a California Class C Driver License within 30 days of hire if required.
• Ability to work in a school environment and support instructional staff.

Responsibilities

• Run small groups and assist students in large groups as directed by the teacher.
• Support the teacher's needs in both Special Day Class settings and General Education.
• Follow the Instructional Assistant II role duties as outlined in the job description.
