Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Course credit in child development preferred.
• At least two years’ experience implementing educational programming and working with students as a Teacher and/or educational aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Teacher in positive classroom management and delivering instruction.
• Report progress regarding student performance and behavior.
• Maintain a safe, orderly, and clean learning environment.
• Tutor students in small groups or individually and assist with lesson plans and materials.
• Maintain discipline in the absence of the Teacher.
• Supervise students inside and outside the classroom.
• Assist in preparing instructional materials and exercises.
