Job summary

BI Incorporated is seeking a part-time field technician to install, service, and remove EM equipment at client residences and other locations. You will troubleshoot problems, perform inspections, and maintain inventory while adhering to contractual guidelines.

Role requires travel, strong communication skills, and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. High school diploma or GED is required, and a valid driver's license is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six (6) months of experience in the military, or a security or law enforcement field preferred.
• Ability to understand EM messages and daily summary reports.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and manage inventory.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to safely operate a motor vehicle.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work with computers and the necessary software typically used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Installs and removes field equipment in client residences or other locations in accordance with contractual guidelines.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems to ensure proper operation.
• Performs equipment inspections to identify damage or malfunction.
• Cleans field equipment.
• Tests equipment according to QA standards.
• Performs routine equipment maintenance.
• Maintains adequate inventory of equipment and supplies for service contracts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
