Job summary

BI Incorporated, a leading provider of electronic monitoring solutions in the United States, seeks a part-time field technician to install and service EM equipment at client residences and other locations. This role involves troubleshooting, equipment inspections, and maintaining inventory with local travel.

The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and 6 months in military or security/law enforcement is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Valid state driver’s license and ability to drive safely.
• Six months in military or security/law enforcement preferred.
• Ability to read EM messages and daily reports; communicate effectively.
• Ability to organize and manage equipment inventory.
• Capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
• Comfort with computers and standard software used by the department.

Responsibilities

• Installs and removes EM field equipment at client residences or other locations per contract.
• Troubleshoots equipment problems to ensure proper operation.
• Performs equipment inspections to identify damage or malfunctions.
• Cleans field equipment and performs routine maintenance.
• Tests equipment according to QA standards.
• Maintains adequate inventory of equipment and supplies for service contracts.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
