Job summary

Selah House in Anderson, IN is seeking a part-time Staff Nurse to provide comprehensive medical care under the supervision of the Director of Nursing. The role supports adolescent and adult women with eating disorders in a home-like, licensed inpatient setting.

Responsibilities include nursing assessments, administering medications, and collaborating with clinical staff to update treatment plans. Requires Indiana RN/LPN license and 1 year hospital experience; psychiatric experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana Nursing License (RN or LPN)
• 1 year clinical hospital experience preferred
• Psychiatric nursing experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments during intake and contribute to treatment planning.
• Administer medications as prescribed and manage med orders.
• Maintain accurate medical records and document care and communications.
• Monitor patients, report findings to Medical Director and update treatment plans.
• Ensure a clean, sanitary environment in nurses' stations and practice universal precautions.
