Job summary

Mount Carmel Health System in Dublin, OH is seeking a contingent inpatient pharmacist to join our Dublin Pharmacy team. This part-time role requires at least two 8-hour shifts per month with flexibility across days, evenings, and weekends, prioritizing evenings and weekends.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy and Ohio licensure, with PGY1 residency or 3 years of institutional hospital experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Licensure: Current license to practice as a Registered Pharmacist in Ohio.
• Experience: PGY1 residency or 3 years institutional pharmacy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates preparation, distribution, and dispensing of medication per regulations and policies.
• Maintains compliance and records related to pharmacy transactions, including controlled substances.
• Manages inventory, removes expired or contaminated stock, processes non-formulary requests.
• Interprets, evaluates and verifies medication orders.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary team to optimize drug therapy and monitor interactions.
