Job summary
Optum in Arizona is seeking a Part-time Infusion Registered Nurse to join our FlexCare team delivering IV therapy to pediatric and adult patients. The role schedules 16 hours per week, with clinic hours on Wednesday and Thursday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
You will administer sterile medications, monitor infusion reactions, document assessments, and support order entry and protocol updates under NP supervision. A current AZ RN license, BLS/ CPR, and EMR familiarity are required; infusion experience is
Qualifications
- RN license in AZ or Compact required.
- BLS/CPR certification or willingness to obtain on hire.
- Infusion nursing experience preferred but not required for all roles.
- Familiarity with EMR and standard healthcare regulations.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct IV care for pediatric and adult patients.
- Prepare and administer sterile medications per protocol.
- Monitor infusion reactions and respond under NP supervision.
- Document clinical assessments and communicate with providers.
- Support order entry, lab review, and protocol updates.
- Ensure accurate, timely documentation and participate in quality assurance.
