Job summary

Local Infusion in Ohio is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner for our outpatient infusion center. This hybrid role blends hands-on infusion services with clinical oversight to support patient safety and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year post-graduate NP experience, 2+ years in outpatient/infusion care, and strong IV therapy skills. We offer remote-first culture with hybrid on-site infusions as we grow.

Qualifications

Role Overview: Infusion Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is licensed in Ohio to join our outpatient infusion center team. This is a hybrid role, dedicated to providing high-quality patient care through a combination of hands-on infusion services and clinical oversight functions. The ideal candidate will bring clinical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to patient safety and operational excellence.

Location/Schedule

Remote + part-time, seeking NPs who would like to move into a full time role, onsite and infusing (hybrid) in the future.

Key Accountabilities

• Clinical Quality
• Regulatory Clinical Compliance

Clinical Responsibilities

• Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines
• Ensure effective communication with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
• Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure effective delivery of care through order clarification, patient status, and plan of care communication
• Resolve clinical escalations, in accordance with policies and procedures
• Prescribe select medication in accordance with patient needs and clinical protocols, evidence-based standards, and organizational policies
• Order and maintain medical inventory and supplies

Quality & Compliance Responsibilities

• Onboard new Medicare patients, completing establishment calls and documentation
• Ensure clinical quality & compliance across region through clinical supervision and oversight, chart auditing, and Letters of Medical Necessity

Qualifications

• Current and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Ohio.
• Minimum 1 year post-graduate clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care.
• Strong clinical judgment, experience in IV therapy preferred.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.
