Job summary

LUX Infusion is seeking an experienced Infusion Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality infusion care in our infusion suite and support other care settings as needed. This part-time role (16-24 hours) involves travel to patients and collaboration with care teams.

The ideal candidate holds an RN license in the state of practice, a nursing degree, IV certification, and 2+ years of RN experience in home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar settings. Travel locally is required.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state of practice.
• Nursing degree from an accredited program.
• IV certification and experience with central line management.
• 2+ years RN experience (home infusion, critical care, ED, or similar preferred).
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.
• Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills.
• Comfortable working independently and as part of a care team.
• Willingness to travel locally to support patients.
• Bachelor’s degree, PICC/Port/Midline certification, and multi-state licensure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Insert, monitor, and discontinue IVs, including central line (PICC/port/midline) care
• Administer infusion therapies, medications, and blood products as prescribed
• Monitor patient response, obtain vital signs, and perform assessments
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy and IV care
• Perform venous phlebotomy as needed
• Complete accurate clinical documentation and nursing notes
• Coordinate schedules and communicate with patients, families, providers, and care teams
• Maintain compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards
