Job summary

Healix Infusion Care in Richmond Heights, MO is seeking a Part Time Infusion Nurse to deliver patient care in an infusion center setting. Responsibilities include preparing medications, accessing IVs, and educating patients and caregivers on therapy and safety.

Must work with in-center staff and providers to ensure high-quality care. Required BSN or ADN with 2+ years of RN experience; infusion or outpatient/homecare infusion experience preferred; BLS certified.

Qualifications

• BSN or ADN required.
• 2+ years RN experience preferred.
• Critical care or outpatient infusion experience preferred.
• Recent IV administration and catheter management experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with in-center staff and regional leadership.

Responsibilities

• Preparation of medications for infusion.
• Deliver infusion and injectable medications.
• Access PICC lines and ports for administration and maintenance.
• Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy.
• Monitor patient treatment and safety.
• Coordinate with providers and staff to ensure high quality care.
• Assist with scheduling, charting, inventory, and follow-up care.
• Work autonomously at the site.
