Job summary

The University of Cincinnati is seeking one or more part‑time adjunct faculty in Information Systems to teach courses in programming frameworks and languages, DevOps, database design and administration, ERP-related topics, project management, process modeling, IS security and compliance, business intelligence, data mining, cloud computing and artificial intelligence systems.

The position is intended to build a pool of qualified instructors; no specific course or semester is tied to this

Qualifications

• Excellent written and oral communication skills to present complex material.
• Ability to work and collaborate with others.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems or related field.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and teach undergraduate and/or graduate level courses on a part‑time basis.
• Serve as an academic adviser for students and evaluate coursework.
• Engage in other activities ancillary to or in support of duties.
• Review and respond in a timely manner to all University‑related communications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
