Zusammenfassung

Maryland Institute College of Art seeks an Information Literacy Fellow (Temporary) to support the Decker Library’s information literacy program by teaching and co-teaching library instruction sessions for undergraduates and occasionally graduate students.

The Fellow assists with curriculum development, documentation of lesson plans and assessments, and data, while contributing to library instruction and research services.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 1 year academic library and/or teaching experience.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Public speaking and customer service skills.

Aufgaben

• Teach required and non-required library instruction sessions, solo and co-teaching as needed.
• Assist the Information Literacy and Instructional Design Librarian with instruction program organization and materials.
• Communicate with faculty regarding sessions.
• Develop and document lesson plans including assessment evidence and data.
• One weekly two-hour shift on the Research Help Desk.
