Qualifications

• Two years of experience in infant/toddler childcare required.
• Bachelor's degree or CDA preferred; alternative 9 college credits with a plan leading to an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education

Responsibilities

• Set up and maintain a safe, healthy, nurturing classroom environment and work with the lead teacher to implement activities.
• Communicate with parents and administrators to provide continuity and share milestones while maintaining confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other faculty and staff to coordinate efforts and make joint program decisions.
• Engage with and learn from people with diverse backgrounds and experiences, and teach to a range of learners.
• Ensure compliance with NYC DOHMH rules and regulations.
• Support and monitor health, wellness and safety procedures and policies.
