Disability Connections in Dublin, GA is seeking a Part-Time Independent Living Coordinator to help people with disabilities identify goals, access resources, and direct their own lives. This professional role emphasizes advocacy, peer support, and community engagement, working alongside the Dublin office and across Middle Georgia.

The position is primarily onsite with travel, approximately 24 hours per week, and a pay rate of $14 to $16 per hour.

Qualificações

• Must have a high school diploma or GED with optional college background.
• Experience in disability services, advocacy, outreach, or coordination is valued.
• Ability to learn community resources and communicate clearly.

Responsabilidades

• Meet with people with disabilities to identify priorities and goals.
• Provide information, referrals, advocacy, peer support, and IL skills training.
• Support participants in developing IL goals and plans.
• Share information about services, housing, transportation, and assistive tech.
• Respect rights and facilitate informed choices for consumers.
