Job summary

Catapult Learning, Inc. is seeking a part-time Math Tutor to provide in-person instructional support for students in Henrico County, VA.

The role requires delivering reading, mathematics, and writing interventions using our curriculum and tools during the school day. The tutor will diagnose skill deficits, coordinate with school staff, and communicate progress to parents, while maintaining lesson plans and materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• FBI/BCI background check required.
• Teaching experience preferred.
• Unwavering belief that all children can learn.
• Ability to navigate online platforms for record keeping and communication.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose learning skill deficits and deliver prescribed instructional methods.
• Consult with school personnel to coordinate services for students.
• Communicate and conference with parents on student progress.
• Deliver prescribed instructional methods as determined by the Company.
• Attend training sessions and deliver instructional models in reading, mathematics, and writing.
