Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in Milwaukee, WI, is seeking an In-Home Associate Veterinarian to provide hospice and euthanasia care during home visits across Milwaukee and surrounding areas. You will practice medicine with purpose, balancing professional fulfillment with personal well-being, supported by mentorship and a strong community.

The role emphasizes compassionate in-home care, flexible scheduling, and ongoing onboarding and mentorship within a veterinary-led, doctor-owned organization.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date

Responsibilities

• In-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families
• Provide compassionate veterinary care during critical moments for clients in their homes
• Collaborate with Lap of Love team and practice managers to ensure high-quality service

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Wauwatosa, Menomonee Falls, Brookfield, Racine, WI and surrounding areas, offering a guaranteed base salary of $45,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request
