Job summary

Tutor Me Education is seeking an enthusiastic, motivated in-home Tutor to join our Sacramento area team. You will provide personalized 1:1 instruction directly in the student’s home to help them build confidence, master coursework, and thrive academically.

The role offers a flexible Monday–Friday afternoon schedule with an average of 2–3 hours per week per student. Compensation starts at $25.00 per hour and there is potential to take on multiple students to grow weekly hours.

Position Details & Flexibility

• Location: In-person / In-home instruction in Sacramento, CA.


• Compensation: Starts at $25.00 per hour.


• Schedule: Consistent Monday–Friday afternoon sessions.


• Hours: Approximately 2–3 hours per week per student. This offers an excellent, low-stress supplemental schedule!


• Opportunity for Growth: While this role begins with a single client, there is a strong possibility to take on multiple students to expand your weekly hours if you choose.

Your Responsibilities

Requirements

Job requirements:

• Ability to commute to/from Sacramento, CA REQUIRED


• Must clear FBI-DOJ background check that is taken in-person


• Previous tutoring/teaching experience highly preferred


• Ability to make learning fun and interactive, with the focus of the tutoring often determined by student questions and comments


• Comfortable working in a classroom/in-home setting


• Negative TB Test Result
