Job summary

Kore Cares in Mitchell, SD is hiring part-time caregivers who provide one-on-one support to elderly and disabled clients at home. No CNA required; pay ranges from $17 to $21 per hour and includes paid training, mileage reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience in patient or client care preferred, but not required.
• Valid driver's license and current auto insurance.
• Reliable transportation to travel to clients' homes.
• Ability to safely perform the physical duties of the position.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and speak English.
• Excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Help clients with bathing, toileting, dressing, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with walking, mobility, and transfers.
• Provide medication reminders and follow care plans.
• Prepare meals, assist with feeding, and clean the kitchen.
• Complete light housekeeping and laundry.
• Provide companionship and socialization.
• Provide transportation to appointments and errands.
• Maintain records of client condition and services.
• Report changes in a client's condition to the agency.
