Job summary

Huntington Learning Center in Evansville, IN is seeking part‑time tutors to support K‑12 students and young adults. Positions offer flexible evening and weekend hours with no travel to students' homes, and all materials are provided.

Ideal for graduate students, retirees, or substitutes looking to teach and gain experience. Starting pay is $15 per hour, with opportunities across Verbal, Phonics, Math, and Science tutoring.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree required.
• Comfortable working with a variety of students K‑12 and young adults.
• Excellent personal interaction skills in 1‑1 sets.
• SAT/ACT tutors should have SAT/ACT scores from within 3 years; free assessment in center to get scores.
• Must be able to work at least 3 times a week; flexible schedule welcome.
• We are open for tutoring seven days a week during the school year.

Responsibilities

• Tutor students in K‑12 and young adults across listed subjects.
• Deliver Verbal, Phonics, Math (Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc, Calc), and Science (Physics, Chemistry, Bio) tutoring.
• Utilize provided materials; no travel to students' homes; no lesson plans to write; after‑school, weekend, and summer hours offered.
