Job summary

Leaps & Bounds Pediatric Therapy is seeking a proactive, relationship-driven Fundraising & Development Officer for a part-time independent contractor role (approximately 10–15 hours per week). The position focuses on building community relationships, identifying funding opportunities, and moving outreach from initial contact through follow-up and stewardship.

Compensation is $40 per hour with a mix of independent work and local in-person activities for donor meetings, events, and partner

Qualifications

• Hands-on nonprofit fundraising, development, donor relations, or sponsorship outreach experience.
• Strong writing, editing, research, and persuasive communication skills.
• Ability to translate an organization’s mission and impact into clear donor messages.
• Self-directed with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Comfort using donor databases, spreadsheets, and common productivity tools.
