Job summary

Ensign College is seeking Immersive Learning Student Employees to serve as Peer Mentors, supporting newly admitted students through pre-arrival guidance, orientation, and ongoing connection. You will engage with peers via emails, texts, and small group sessions while balancing coursework.

As a Peer Mentor, you will assist ENS 101 and Belonging Symposium planning, build belonging, report concerns, and collaborate with the First-Year Experience Team.

• Build positive mentoring relationships with students and staff.
• Demonstrate strong organizational and planning abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-arrival guidance to newly admitted students.
• Support ENS 101 (College Success) in coordination with First-Year Experience Team.
• Hold weekly in-person mentoring groups and assist with Belonging Symposium planning.
• Build belonging and support first-year students in navigating campus resources.
