Job summary

Meow Wolf Denver is seeking a part-time Custodian/Housekeeping team member to keep the gallery and offices clean, safe, and welcoming for guests and staff.

The role requires 1–2 years experience preferred, evening/weekend/holiday availability, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and strict adherence to health, safety, and cleaning procedures. Start date on or after 10/5/2026; end date no later than 90 days after start. Compensation is $19.75/hour.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years custodial/janitorial/housekeeping experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and time management.
• Ability to work independently and follow written or verbal instructions.
• Familiarity with cleaning chemicals and safe handling practices.
• Excellent communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation duties across exhibition, retail, office, and public areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust as assigned to maintain cleanliness and safety.
• Clean and restock restrooms and break areas.
• Collect, separate, and dispose of trash and recycling.
• Inspect and report maintenance or safety concerns to the Facilities or Operations team.
• Support setup and breakdown of events and special activities as needed.
• Maintain custodial equipment, supplies, and storage areas in safe and organized condition.
• Follow established schedules and cleaning procedures consistently.
