Job summary

Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL is seeking an Imaging System Specialist 1 in Radiology Administration to perform retrieving, delivering, and maintaining patient images, and to support PACS/CPACS functions.

You will handle clerical tasks, logs, QA, and image exchange, reporting to the Section Manager or Team Leader. Part-time schedule: Sundays, Wednesdays, Fridays. On-site at the TGH Main Campus.

Qualifications

• Basic to moderate computer skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and general public.
• Ability to follow procedures and instructions in completing work duties.
• Proof of customer relations training or experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate scanning equipment, CD exporter and fax machine.
• Import/export imaging via electronic image exchange networks.
• Identify and resolve QA issues and escalate when needed.
• Maintain logs, documentation and clean work areas.
• Retrieve and organize imaging across RIS and PACS.
