Job summary

North Arkansas Regional Medical Center in Harrison, AR is seeking an Imaging Services Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care before, during, and after diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures. The RN will work in a collaborative environment with radiology, imaging, and other clinical teams to ensure safety, quality, and compassionate patient care.

Responsibilities include comprehensive assessments, patient preparation, medication administration, and post-procedure

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Arkansas.
• Current CPR certification.
• ACLS certification or eligibility to obtain.
• Proficiency with IV access and venipuncture.
• Ability to interpret electrocardiograms (ECGs).
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments before, during, and after imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for diagnostic and interventional imaging procedures and ensure informed consent.
• Verify patient identity, orders, and documentation prior to procedures.
• Administer and document medications per hospital policies.
• Provide nursing care across pediatric to geriatric patients.
• Establish IV access and perform venipuncture as needed.
• Monitor patients during procedural sedation and respond to changes in condition.
• Assist physicians with interventional procedures.
• Maintain infection prevention practices and sterile technique.
• Document all patient care activities in the EMR.
