Job summary

Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, TX is seeking a Part-Time Registered Dietitian to provide nutrition assessments, patient education, and care coordination for inpatient and outpatient services. The role allows remote work for 8 hours per week with up to two on-site visits monthly.

Responsibilities include documenting interventions, collaborating with physicians, and managing therapeutic diets. Credentialed RD with state license and regulatory knowledge preferred; EAP and ongoing

Qualifications

• Active RD credential and state license as required.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in Food and Nutrition or related field.
• Knowledge of regulatory standards and food service regulations.
• Computer experience with word processing, spreadsheets, and various software.

• Complete nutritional assessments and interventions for inpatient and outpatient care.
• Educate patients, families, nursing, food service and staff on nutritional needs.
• Document assessments and goals in the medical record.
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on nutritional status.
• Manage orders for therapeutic diets and supplements.
• Attend rounds and maintain nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance.

Job description

Part-Time Registered Dietitian at Stonewall Memorial Hospital in Aspermont, TX

Starting rate: $55/hr (Negotiable based on experience)

Remote 8 hrs/wk with up to 2 on-site visits required monthly

• Complete nutritional assessments and provide interventions using evidence-based practices for both inpatient and outpatient care
• Provide education to patients, families, nursing, food service, and other facility staff on nutritional needs
• Document assessment of patients with nutritional goals and interventions in the medical record
• Communicate with physicians and clinical staff on patients’ nutritional status
• Manage physician orders for therapeutic diets and supplements
• Attend patient rounds and maintain clinical nutrition policies to support regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Registered Dietitian with Commission of Dietetic Registration and licensed dietitian as required per state regulations
