Job summary

Equality Charter School in the Bronx seeks a part-time High School Track and Field Assistant Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. Must have 1-2 years coaching experience; knowledge of local meets is a plus.

The coach reports to the Athletic Director and will train athletes, prepare them for competition, and develop competitive skills. Responsibilities include enforcing discipline, nurturing student needs, and modeling sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• At least 1–2 years of coaching experience.
• Knowledge of surrounding area meets and events is a plus.
• Applicants with no coaching exp but background on college/university team are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Train athletes, prepare them for competition, and develop skills at a competitive level.
• Enforce discipline, nurture student needs, and model sportsmanlike behavior at all times.
• Coordinate practices (3:45pm–6:00pm) and assist with game strategy under Athletic Director.
