Part-Time Human Resource Generalist

The HR Generalist will support day-to-day human resources operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws. This part-time role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working across multiple HR functions. This position is temp to hire and will pay $19 and $25/hr.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with recruitment efforts including posting jobs, screening resumes, and coordinating interviews
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems
  • Respond to employee inquiries regarding policies, benefits, and procedures
  • Help coordinate training sessions and employee engagement activities
  • Assist with performance review tracking and documentation
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Support payroll and benefits administration as needed
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • 2+ years of HR experience, preferably in a generalist capacity
  • Strong understanding of HR practices and employment laws
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems
Preferred Attributes
  • SHRM or HRCI certification
  • Experience in a part-time or flexible HR role

Pay Details: $19.00 to $25.00 per hour
