Degenkolb Engineers is seeking an organized HR Coordinator to support payroll operations across multiple offices in a hybrid, part-time role. You will work with the Payroll Manager on payroll maintenance, data entry, recordkeeping, and preparing information for accurate payroll processing.
The ideal candidate has payroll, HR, accounting, or administrative experience, enjoys detail work, and is open to evolving into a full-time position as the team grows.
Our HR team is seeking an organized and detail-oriented HR Coordinator to primarily support Degenkolb's payroll operations. Working closely with the Payroll Manager, this position will be responsible for payroll maintenance, data entry, recordkeeping, and preparing information to support accurate and timely payroll processing. The HR Coordinator will also provide administrative support to the broader HR team as capacity allows. This is a great opportunity for someone with payroll, HR, accounting, or administrative experience who enjoys detailed work and is interested in developing their HR and payroll knowledge. This is initially a part‑time position, with the potential to grow into a full‑time opportunity as the role and needs of the HR team evolve. This hybrid position can be based at any of these offices: Detroit, Los Angeles, Oakland, Orange, Sacramento, San Diego, San Francisco, or Seattle.

The annual salary range for this position across our offices generally falls between $26.50 and $39 per hour. This range is a good‑faith estimate provided pursuant to applicable pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be based on factors including work location, company geographic differentials, education, experience, and candidate qualifications.
