As a Housekeeping & Laundry Aide, you will be part of our team whose liveliness, imagination, and communication are valued and rewarded. The Housekeeping staff is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate will be dedicated, able to work independently, and detail-oriented.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Dusting, cleaning, vacuuming, and mopping of equipment, patient rooms, and general areas
• Processing & transport of laundry & linen throughout the facility
• Laundering, pressing, folding, delivering, and storing clothes & other items
• Maintaining a clean & safe work environment in compliance with State & Federal laws & regulations
• Following facility policies & procedures
• Attending required staff in-services
• Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Current identification
• Excellent personal hygiene

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in long-term care or hotel environments
• Experience with infection control / isolation procedures
