Job summary

Midtown Athletic Clubs is seeking a detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain our club’s outstanding standards. You will perform cleaning duties across multiple spaces, assist with laundry, and ensure a safe, clean environment for members and guests.

The role requires flexibility to work weekends, nights, and holidays, with an emphasis on thoroughness and a positive, customer-service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Utilize daily checklists to maintain a clean, sanitized club space.
• Keep studio, tennis courts, fitness floor, café, locker rooms and other spaces clean and orderly.
• Assist with laundry by loading washers/dryers and folding towels (~40+ lbs lift).
• Maintain organized supply areas and closets.
• Ensure overall indoor and outdoor club cleanliness.
• Empty trash and towel bins, dust high surfaces, clean windows and mop as needed.

Our Housekeepers are heartbeat of the club operations, keeping things presentable and prepared with a beautiful and clean first impression. They are motivated and passionate about helping others and creating the “magic behind the scenes”. As an integral part of our facilities team, our Housekeeping Associates provide a safe, clean, and functional environment for our members and guests.

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Utilizing established daily checklists to maintain a clean and sanitized club space
• Proactively works to ensure our club spaces (studio, tennis courts, fitness floor, café, locker rooms and other specified club spaces) are kept in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with laundry operations by loading our washers and dryers, as well as folding towels (must be able to lift approximately 40+ lbs).
• Maintain an organized and tidy supply area/ closet
• Responsible for overall indoor and outdoor club cleanliness
• Emptying trash and towel bins, high dusting, cleaning windows and mopping for additional cleaning tasks
• The ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail, to be flexible and open to change, customer service skills, and persistence and determination

Compensation

This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $17 to $18, depending on experience.
