Job summary

Midtown Athletic Club seeks a detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain our club’s impeccable experience. You will keep spaces clean, organized, and ready for members and guests, supporting the team with a warm, service-minded approach.

As part of the facilities team, you’ll clean studio spaces, courts, fitness areas, and locker rooms, assist with laundry, and ensure safety and sanitation standards. A flexible schedule, including weekends, is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to maintain cleanliness to high standards in a fast-paced club environment.
• Prioritization and time-management skills to complete tasks on schedule.
• Willingness to lift up to 50 pounds and work flexible hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintain clean and sanitized club spaces per daily checklists.
• Keep studio, courts, fitness floor, café, locker rooms, and other spaces tidy and ready for use.
• Assist with laundry and folding towels; lift and move items as needed.
• Maintain organized supply areas and support overall indoor/outdoor cleanliness.
• Provide courteous service to members and guests and support a positive club atmosphere.

Midtown is looking for a Housekeeper, with an attention-to-detail, to enhance our club’s impeccable experience.

What You’ll Do

Our Housekeepers are heartbeat of the club operations, keeping things presentable and prepared with a beautiful and clean first impression. They are motivated and passionate about helping others and creating the “magic behind the scenes”. As an integral part of our facilities team, our Housekeeping Associates provide a safe, clean, and functional environment for our members and guests.

We work together to support the functional aspects of the club, delivering impeccable spaces that are ready for usage and delight our customers. This is a unique learning opportunity for you to become familiar with multiple areas of the facility, including fitness, racquet sports, and spa.

What Your Days Will Look Like

• Utilizing established daily checklists to maintain a clean and sanitized club space
• Proactively works to ensure our club spaces (studio, tennis courts, fitness floor, café, locker rooms and other specified club spaces) are kept in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist with laundry operations by loading our washers and dryers, as well as folding towels (must be able to lift approximately 40+ lbs).
• Maintain an organized and tidy supply area/ closet
• Responsible for overall indoor and outdoor club cleanliness
• Emptying trash and towel bins, high dusting, cleaning windows and mopping for additional cleaning tasks
• The ability to be thorough and pay attention to detail, to be flexible and open to change, customer service skills, and persistence and determination

Job Qualifications

Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays as necessary Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift/carry up to 50 pounds and be able to push carts up to 250 pounds

Compensation

Hourly: $17-$18
