Job summary

Riverside Health & Rehab in Thomaston, GA is hiring a Part-Time Housekeeping Aide to perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in patient areas, hallways and common spaces. You will follow center procedures, use proper safety measures, and support a respectful, safe environment for residents and staff.

Responsibilities include floor care, dusting, bathroom sanitation, waste disposal, and assisting with curtain management.

Qualifications

• Understands basic cleaning principles and safety with chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedures.
• Excellent communication with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop floors; follow center procedures.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms and dust surfaces.
• Empty trash and clean bathrooms and fixtures.
• Clean glass surfaces and windows; move furniture as needed.
• Change curtains and draperies; remove and rehang curtains.
• Follow infection control standards and use PPE as required.
• Report equipment issues to Maintenance.
• Maintain supplies and storage areas.
