Job summary

Autumn Lane Health & Rehab in Gray, GA is seeking a part-time Housekeeping Aide for weekend shifts. You will perform routine cleaning tasks across patient rooms, hallways, and common areas while following safety and infection control procedures.

The role supports a compassionate, patient-centered environment in a non-profit setting. Responsibilities include floor care, trash removal, and timely reporting of maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or its equivalent preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
• Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, damp mop, and wet mop tile floors.
• Vacuum carpeted rooms as applicable.
• Dust/damp clean surfaces in patient rooms.
• Empty trash cans and clean areas.
• Clean bathrooms and glass surfaces; maintain clean windows.
• Move furniture and adjust curtains as needed.
• Follow infection control standards and use PPE as required.
• Maintain supplies and report equipment issues to Maintenance.
