Job summary

Mayflower Gardens, a 502-unit older adult community in Lancaster, CA, is seeking a part-time housekeeper. You will clean common areas, apartment models, vacant units, and support staff to maintain a welcoming, sanitary environment.

Ideal candidates have janitorial experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The role offers competitive pay at $18 per hour and benefits through RHF.

Qualifications

• Experience in janitorial or housekeeping roles preferred.
• Attention to detail with high cleanliness standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean common areas, offices, laundry rooms, and bathrooms to high standards.
• Maintain apartment models for prospective residents.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-ins following checklists.
• Daily cleaning of hallways, lounges, dining rooms, and outdoor spaces.
• Be prepared for occasional exposure to dampness or water.
• Support the facility with additional housekeeping tasks as needed.
• Maintain and report equipment and supplies, coordinate with supervisor.
