Job summary

St Coletta of Wisconsin Inc in Wisconsin is seeking a detail-oriented housekeeping aide to perform general cleaning, laundry, and supply management while upholding safety standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, kitchens, bedrooms, and common areas, including dusting, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and polishing floors and surfaces.
• Change bed linens and make beds as needed.
• Wash, dry, fold, and organize laundry.
• Empty trash receptacles and replace liners.
• Clean windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces.
• Organize closets, cabinets, and storage areas as needed.
• Restock household and cleaning supplies and notify management when inventory is low.
• Follow established cleaning procedures, safety guidelines, and organizational standards.
• Assist with event setup and teardown, including moving tables and chairs and cleaning and restoring spaces following events and activities.
• Promptly report maintenance concerns, damages, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management.

High School Diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.

Language Skills

Ability to read well and understand written documents and instructions in the English language. Ability to write well and clearly in English on all reports and correspondence. Must have excellent ability to professionally communicate effectively with customers, clients, supervisors, and other employees.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs

Reasoning Ability

Computer Skills

Driving Requirements

This position requires the employee to be able to drive for work purposes and he or she must maintain a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. This position may require the use of the employee’s personal vehicle.
