The part-time Housekeeper will be an integral part of a dedicated and highly skilled team responsible for providing outstanding customized service to our clients. The individual in this role will be responsible for providing cleaning and interior maintenance of a private estate, as well as assisting with exemplary hospitality service.

The part-time schedule will be up to 3 days per week, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm (most likely Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, with days subject to change based on needs).

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Dust all surfaces, including furniture, shelves, and baseboards.
• Vacuum carpets and rugs throughout homes.
• Mop hard floors, focusing on high-traffic areas.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen countertops, sinks, and appliances.
• Wipe down exterior of kitchen cabinets and appliances.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.
• Replace towels and refill toiletries as needed.
• Empty trash bins and replace liners.
• Clean mirrors and glass surfaces.
• Dust and wipe down light fixtures and ceiling fans.
• Make beds and change linens.
• Tidy up common areas and organize clutter.
• Perform laundry tasks, including washing, drying, folding, and storing linens/towels.
• Prepare homes for guests by ensuring cleanliness and a welcoming environment.
• Report any maintenance issues.
• Maintain personal care products and cleaning supplies at optimal levels.
• Ensure all household spaces are maintained to high cleanliness standards and that tasks are performed as requested.
• Communicate effectively with team members; listen attentively, ask questions, collaborate, and demonstrate team spirit.
• Assist with other duties as assigned and in the absence of other staff.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Experience caring for and cleaning luxury homes, hotels, inns, etc., is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning products.
• Training in or an eye for aesthetics is important.
• Detail-oriented mindset.
• Full flexibility in schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to travel and work at summer homes located in Holland, MI.
• Responsible, dedicated, and dependable.
• Proven customer service skills with a professional demeanor.
• Commitment to confidentiality and privacy.

ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Ability to work at a physically demanding pace.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds to a maximum height of 6 feet.
• Ability to stand for long periods, climb stairs, stoop, bend, and kneel.
• Ability to use a step stool for cleaning tasks.
• Ability to operate household maintenance equipment for extended periods.
