Job summary

NorthStar Maintenance Group, LLC is seeking a part-time housekeeper to sanitize and maintain a small medical facility on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings. Cleaning typically takes 3–5 hours per shift after closing.

The ideal candidate works well alone or with occasional teamwork, is reliable, energetic and personable, and can follow instructions while maintaining privacy. Training will be provided; reliable transportation to the facility is required, and future raises or benefits may be

Job description

NorthStar Maintenance Group, LLC is looking for a part-time housekeeper to join our team. The Housekeeper will clean, sanitize, and maintain a small medical facility on Monday, Wednesday & Friday evenings. After the facility closes each evening, you would go in & clean. It should take approximately 3-5 hours each evening to clean. You will be on your own, cleaning by yourself after training. Our office is an hour away, so it's important that the person hired doesn't miss work very often because someone from London will have to come fill in for you. The building still has to be cleaned.

The ideal person for this position has experience, enjoys working individually or on occasion as a team, is well-spoken, energetic, and personable.

Responsibilities:

• Clean – Perform general cleaning and sanitizing tasks throughout the assigned property. Clean and disinfect bathrooms, kitchen, and dining areas. Wipe and dust surfaces in rooms and clean mirrors. Vacuum and clean floors, rugs, furniture. Sweep & mop.
• Stock – All toilet paper, paper towels & soap dispensers.
• Other – Pick up and empty trash container. Take all trash to dumpster on site. If applicable, notify maintenance if something is not working correctly.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Detail-oriented, confidential, and professional
• Ability to read, write and speak English
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds at times
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and reach, bend, lift and pull
• Must be extremely dependable & not miss work
• Must have reliable transportation to get to & from the facility
• Must be responsible and not lose or misplace badges, keys, etc.
• Must be honest

After being employed with NorthStar Maintenance Group for 90 days, you will then get holiday pay. So, if the facility is closed & that falls on a day that you normally work, you will still be paid for it. You're also eligible to participate in 401K after 90 days. After being employed with us for 1 year, you're eligible for paid vacation time & that renews each year. After 3 years, each year your vacation time doubles what you normally would get. Decisions about employee raises are made by HR. If you do a good job and don't miss work, we are happy to give raises.
