Job summary

All Points North is seeking a part-time housekeeper for evening shifts (3pm–9pm) with weekend requirements, based in Kansas. You will create a welcoming, clean environment for clients and staff, and maintain guest rooms and common areas to APN standards.

Qualified candidates have 2+ years in housekeeping, strong multitasking, leadership, and excellent interpersonal skills. Familiarity with MS Office and basic computer tasks is a plus.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming and clean environment for clients and staff.
• Tidy common spaces and guest rooms to ensure quality service.
• Prepare guest rooms, apartments, and rental homes for guests.
• Assist with inventory, ordering, and organization of housekeeping items.
• Ensure client rooms are clean and sanitized.
• Assist with arrivals and departures to maintain room cleanliness.
• Suggest improvements to department performance.
• Maintain communications with hospitality staff.
• Respond to client needs and requests.
• Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Routine mobility to include standing, stooping, bending, lifting, walking and running.
• Regularly required to sit and work at a phone/computer workstation
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.

Position Duties and Responsibilities - Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Helps implement systems to ensure efficiency and delineation of tasks related to facility cleanliness
• Produces timely and accurate information to communicate with other department heads regarding guest and departmental needs.
• Prepare guest rooms, apartments, and rental homes for guests.
• Assists with hospitality department inventory, ordering, and organization of housekeeping items.
• Ensures that client response quality is up to standards facilities are clean and sanitized.
• Assists with the organization of client arrivals and departure processes to ensure room cleanliness.
• Offers suggestions and creative ideas that can improve upon the department's performance.
• Clean and Sanitize common spaces, recording on sheet to ensure safety
• Monitors and maintains communications with the hospitality staff
• Solves problems that arise and seizes control of issues in the building- communicating with proper avenues to create solutions to the details.
• Responds to client needs and requests personally.
