Job summary

Lap of Love invites compassionate veterinarians to join as an in-home, associate clinician serving Oceanside, CA and surrounding areas. This mobile role emphasizes hospice and euthanasia care, enabling practice with purpose while maintaining personal balance.

The team values ongoing mentorship, a supportive culture, and flexible 2–5 day weeks to align professional dedication with life priorities. Applicants should be licensed veterinarians and comfortable visiting clients' homes.

Qualifications

Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS) required.
Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
Availability to work some weekends.
Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance.
Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date.

Responsibilities

Provide hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families in home settings.
Work independently with support from Lap of Love's mentorship and practice managers.

*Veterinarian Salary Range

Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in the Oceanside, CA area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $55,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request.
