Job summary

Lap of Love Veterinary Hospice in the San Fernando Valley, CA, is seeking an in-home Associate Veterinarian to join a mobile hospice-focused practice. You will deliver compassionate hospice and euthanasia care for pets in their homes, alleviating suffering while supporting families.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license.
• Availability to work some weekends.
• In-home, hospice-focused veterinary care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-home hospice and euthanasia care for pets and families.
• Deliver compassionate medical care in patients' homes while supporting families.
• Coordinate with clients to develop humane, comfortable care plans.
• Maintain documentation and follow-up communication with clients.

• Veterinarian Salary Range: Part-time (2-day/week) opportunities available in the an Fernando Valley, CA area, offering a guaranteed base salary of $65,000 annually plus bonus opportunities and benefits. Full-time (3-day, 4-day, and 5-day) compensation details available upon request

Requirements

• Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD/BVMS)
• Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Availability to work some weekends
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted and up to 100 lbs with assistance
• Candidates will be subject to a background and motor vehicle record check, post-hire and before their associated start date
