Please Note: These positions are managed through Millersville University's dining services. Employees are not directly employed by Chick-Fil-A.
Assignments could include but are not limited to: the dish room, kitchen, vegetable preparation area, food prep, serving areas, dining rooms, cashiering, food bagging and order expediting.

The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified candidates. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on need. Required Qualifications

• Demonstrated ability to:
  • learn procedures and practices for food handling, sanitation, cleanliness.

• Basic math skills for recipe and quantity control.

• Must follow basic dress code as established by branded concepts and hygiene standards set by University Dining.
• Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.

• May be required to have a valid driver's license to drive university van, box truck or motorized skid.
• Successful interview.
• Successful completion of three background checks.

Preferred Qualifications

• Six months food service experience. Fast food experience. Chick-fil-A experience a plus

  • move over 40 lbs. using standard food service industry carts.

• May be required to work in cold storage areas for extended periods of time.
• May be required have a valid driver's license to drive university van, box truck or motorized skid.
• Ability to:
  • perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide).
  • understand of written directions.
• Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and mouse.
